At Donna Rushton Photography, we are storytellers. Everything from our choice of equipment to our style of shooting is directly related to the wedding album.
After your flowers haved faded and the wddding dress has been packed away, your photos will endure. As time passes, it will be something far more important than you now realize. Just like your wedding bands, your album is a strong reminder of the promise you will make and the love that brought you together.
Your wedding album will be re-visted many times by you, your friends, family and your children-to be.
.... for this reason, we place strong emphasis on the album.
As your photographer, I understand the importance and responsibility I have. I focus all of my energies in capturing the emotions of your day as respectfully and non-obtrusively as possible. I dress as though I was a guest and I quietly observe wiht my camera in hand.
The style I emphasize is Photogjournalism - I capture the moments as they naturally unfold, rather then focus on the static poses that were so popular in our parents' wedding photos.
I look for the tears of joy, an emotional hug, a flirtious smile, children as they play..... I also photograph the subtle details that make your wedding unique - the back of wedding dresses, flower arrangements, the landscape, etc. I work with the end-goal of creating a album that tells the whole story, from the beginning as you and your bridesmaids are getting ready, until you and your spouse (to-be) depart.
Your photograhs will be ready for viewing by the time you get back from your honeymoon (within7 days, under normal circumstances). We present a collection of your wedding day photos in a slide show format, set to music. You will then be sent home with a preview album which will be yours to keep.
Albums creations is by self and my design team. Once you select your favorite images, we will design your page layout. We welcome participation from the bride and groom in the creation of the albums so your input on the selection of images will be welcomed. |
